Luigi Malones is the first to introduce Argentinean Style Parrilla Grilling to Cork since we believe hot coals are the greatest taste enhancer and the most direct at seasoning and aromatising food as they cook it.

Our bar offers a large selection of Legendary Cocktails, Wines, Spirits and Beers, including our famous frosted 1 Litre Stein of Fischer’s German Beer. The restaurant offers a selection of homemade desserts, with our ever popular Toblerone & Butterscotch Cheesecake – a must try while in Luigi’s!

Luigi Malones classic decor includes two huge landmark St. Pancras Station Clocks hanging on two sides of our vintage bar. The restaurant offers plenty of seating with boots for families, fireplace snugs for couples, comfy armchairs for relaxing Lunch, as well as large party tables for your special celebrations.

Luigi's Famous Buffalo Wings

Our world famous incredible buffalo wing sauce is known for many miles around and is our most popular dish, possibly because of its  mouthwatering, finger-licking incredible taste!

Having spent over 20 years unsuccessfully searching the globe for the perfect wing sauce, we decided to develop our own. We set about creating a masterpiece by sampling , tasting, tweaking, sampling and tasting some more and then realised developing a truly incredible wing sauce was going to take some time.

8 years later we had perfected our recipe which is now regarded as the elixir of wing sauce here at Luigi Malones.

Filling the restaurant with a mouthwatering aroma when they come out of the kitchen, our incredible buffalo wings are the ones to try if you haven’t already.

Our famous Incredible Buffalo Wing sauce is also available on our Wing Sauce pizza, or as a separate dipping sauce, but be warned – it is incredibly addictive!

Argentinean Parrilla Grilling

In Buenos Aires, it’s quite common to see a giant bonfire smouldering in the window of good restaurants. This is the Parrilla, a charcoal fire, over which meat is grilled. And they are quite a spectacle, all running juices and hissing fat.

The Parrilla barbeques in Argentina can be huge structures - the size of your bathroom big! Often equipped with “a hoist wheel” added to raise and lower the grill bars.
Luigi Malones has now introduced Parrilla cooking to the heart of Cork. We have custom designed and installed our very own Parrilla, as we believe it to be the epitome of great flavour.

Hot coals are the greatest taste-enhancer and the most direct at seasoning and aromatizing food as they cook it. We hope you will grow to love and enjoy the Parrilla experience at Luigi Malones!

Irish Steaks Dried in Himalayan Salt Chamber

All of the steaks at Luigi Malones are 100% Irish and aged in our exclusive Himalayan Dry Ageing Salt Chamber for a minimum of 28 days.

We believe they are the best steaks in Cork! By creating an atmosphere that surrounds the steaks with 200 million-year-old Himalayan salt bricks, moisture is drawn from both the air and the meat, which has the effect of lowering the humidity.

This change in humidity creates a process of ionisation where positive ions from the steak and negative ions from the salt counteract. In other words, the ageing process creates great tasting steaks that are guaranteed tender every time.

Perfectly seasoned, and flame grilled in a real charcoal fire Argentinean Parrilla our steaks are served with succulent caramelised onions, mushrooms and our special steak sauce.

Italian Handthrown Pizzas

We think that the perfect pizza starts with the perfect dough. The base of our sourdough pizzas is made in house daily using the finest Molino Caputo flour imported from Naples.

San Marzano D.O.P. tomatoes (the champagne of tomatoes) and Fiore de Latte Mozzarella ensure our pizzas are authentic as well as delicious.

After being lovingly hand stretched and prepared at our custom pizza station, all of our pizzas are cooked to perfection in our custom made pizza oven, reaching over 700 degrees centigrade in the dome creating the signature leopard spots on the dough crust.

Whether you choose Luigi's incredible Wing Sauce Pizza, a Ndjua Sausage Pizza, or Calzone, there’s something for everyone on our artisan sourdough pizza menu.

Mexican Flaming Fajitas

Using a top secret traditional Mexican recipe, we make all of our own fajita spices and marinades giving a delicious authentic flavour that will make your mouth water.

Served on a sizzling skillet, our fajitas come packed with flavour, theatre, and they fill the restaurant with a divine aroma that’s guaranteed to whet the appetite.

Accompanied with soft flour tortillas, freshly homemade salsa & guacamole, cheddar cheese, sour cream, and crisp iceberg lettuce; you can build your favourite fajita right here at Luigi Malones.

Luigi's Giant Burgers

We want to tempt your tastebuds with handmade prime Irish beef burgers made fresh daily by Luigi.

We make our own chicken burgers using a whole chicken filet rolled in Japanese breadcrumbs and sautéed in butter.

Our pulled pork, we slow cook for 10 hours through the night in our tangy homemade bbq sauce.

All of our burgers are served in a soft light brioche bun, with skin on crispy fries and hand made creamy, crunchy slaw guaranteed to compliment your succulent burger.

A combination of good old fashioned taste with all the trimmings lovingly prepared in the Luigi Malones kitchen.

Portuguese Espetadas

This mouthwatering Portuguese delicacy is one of Luigi's most signature dishes. We cut our lamb into uniform cubes, season with crushed garlic and bay leaves.

We grill the lamb on long skewers on our Parrill grill accompanied with Irish Gubbeen Smokehouse chorizo, peppers and onions.

Luigi's Espetadas are served over salad with tzatziki and potato choice.

Toblerone & Butterscotch Cheesecake

Lovingly prepared daily from scratch, our homemade desserts are something to look forward to after any meal.

Perhaps the most famous of all our desserts, the Toblerone & Butterscotch Cheesecake is deliciously decadent and sells out fast.

Filled and topped with pieces of real Toblerone it’s our star signature pudding, enjoyed time and time again.

Traditional apple crumble, strawberry pavlova, gooey chocolate brownie, and delicious ice creams are also permanent favourites on our desserts menu.

Frosted Fischer's Beer Story

Luigi Malones started serving Fischer's Helles beer back in the late 80s in our restaurant in Munich. When Luigi's moved to Ireland, we brought Fischer's with us, becoming the first restaurant to sell this wonderful golden beauty in the Emerald Island.

Helles” means “pale in color,” as these beers are often golden. The German-style Helles lager is a bit rounder or fuller-bodied than light lager and even all-malt pilsners. Helles lager beers offer a touch of sweetness that balance a measurable addition of spicy German hop flavor and light bitterness. It's a clean and crisp, refreshing beer.

In Luigi Malones Fischer's is famously served in frosted glasses, extremely popular among our beer lovers who enjoy its cold, clean, crisp and refreshing qualities.
